Blest be the ties that bind!
The quilt top is done as far as the twenty blocks that will cover just the bed top. 23 inches of borders will be added next.
All in all I believe the colors and patterns of the ties work together to blend a nice top.
I hope each tie brings back a special memory for my Cousin Shela.
Three borders will be added to the sides. One small 4 inch, one large 14 inch with tie block corner pieces and then another small 4 inch border for the bottom. The 14 inch border will have Louis' favorite scripture verse embroidered on it.
Then off to the longarm shop in Maidens, VA.
