The Gangs all here! Woo-hoo, time for a cook-out at Mike and Janet's place. You name it, we had it to eat.
Peach ice cream in the new White Mountain freezer. It was good!

Welcome to talkthetalkwithRICHARD!
As most of you know, Richard, my brand new son-in-law is a famous chef (yes, he was featured on the Alton Brown cooking show) in NOLA. New Orleans, LA for all you yanks.
Richard makes shrimp scampi to die for but that's a story for another day.
Recently Richard (and my wonderful daughter) sent me a copy of Food Lover's Companion. Comprehensive Definitions of nearly 6000 Food, Drink and Culinary Terms to help me understand the fancy chef lingo that he speaks.
Each week a new word and definition will be posted. From time to time I will add words of my own which you will surely recognize. Pretty soon we will all be speaking "chef".
So if you don't know the difference between blaff and blenny, this column is for you.

Topsail Time came and went but as usual Richard came through as the clear winner in the shrimp and grits competition!
