The game started out with a touchdown, but the Cosby refs called it back just because they could. Monacan went on to score despite the uneven playing field.
Things were looking up, but not for long.
With Cosby down a touchdown, the refs decided it was time to throw the game. Several plays went by without the clock moving. Other times the clock was stopped for NO reason at all, no time outs remained and no penalties were called. If you play your heart out and lose fair and square, that's one thing, but to have the officials take the game away is another. Final score Cosby 15, Monacan 14.
