The Cross and Crown quilt is back from the longarm shop.
As you can see the Elegant Feathers pattern is lovely and really brings our quilt to life.
The embroidery from Cindy is perfect in color and design for our borders. Shela is thrilled.
This is Jody, our longarm princess from A Needle Runs Through It longarm shop in Maidens, Va. We trust Jody to do all of our longarm work and help with our quilting patterns decisions. Somehow she always knows just what to use to make our quilts beautiful!
Jody suggested a silk batting for the quilt since my Cousin lives down south in the heat and humidity of Louisiana. Silk will breathe and is lighter weight wise than cotton batting. I love the feel and loft of the silk and would highly recommend it.
Yes, I know you all want a picture showing the entire quilt. I have to wait for the army to show up to help hold it up, it is huge!
