stackandWHACKED

Stack and Whack part 2. You only need to know 3 things to be a good quilter, precision cutting, 1/4 inch perfect stitching and pressing, not ironing, they are two totally different things.

Sew..... do you think between the 4 of us we can do any of the above. For the last 2 weeks we have made numerous blocks of pinwheels. Some that actually worked and some that were way, way off. Diana explained the process of pinning our blocks a certain way before sewing and even how to fix a few of our problems. We just need to practice. All in all I think she was surprised at our success.
Binding, stop borders and miter cuts are all new to us, but we'll get the hang of it. Lucy's pinwheels pictured here, are flat and square and are ready for edges. Wow, quilting is hard work but a great deal of fun, especially with good friends!
