doggyBEDS

Yayyyy! for the SPCA in Minot, ND.
Due to the recent floods in Minot many home owners had to leave their homes. Unable to take their pets with them in many cases, the SPCA stepped in and is taking care of them until their owners return.
Fleece dog beds were needed for the many animals living in crates. Needless to say the quilting girls have to help! And need I mention we are all pet lovers too.
Tuesday morning our Virginia dog beds will head to Minot to help out.
Can't sew you say? Send money, everybody has to eat!!!!!!!!!!

My summer flowers are looking good but my tomato did not last the deer feeding fest.
Click on the picture and you can see for your self that my Roma tomato plant was loaded with nice tomatoes. Then came the deer! They ate every last tomato on the bush...

twoinoneDAY

Cathy had a fire under her feet today. Two Smart Bags made in one day! I think that is a record.
Another fun filled sew day at the farm.

moreBUFFALO

On the last day of our trip to Buffalo, Brandi thought we should at least do one touristy thing.
So off to the falls we go. When we arrive you can't even see Horseshoe Falls due to the fog. No need for a boat trip if you can't see where you are going.
Time for lunch anyway. During lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe the sun came out and burned off the fog! Time to hit the boat. Brandi told us to tie knots in the poncho at your knees to keep the poncho from blowing up over your head when the boat makes the turn in front of Horseshoe Falls. The water was very cold when the spray hit you and my hands were cold making pictures.
Does it ever get warm there??????

Have you ever seen such teeth as Sheldon's?
Bailey playing "cover monster." Brusco just looking cute!

buffaloMARATHON

As usual my pictures are in no order!
Vacation in Buffalo means head for Ted's Red Hots. Foot long chili and cheese dogs for the boys.
Richard is looking slim and trim now that he is marathon training. Click on the picture for an up close look at the kids crossing the finish line.
