BUFF

More fun at the falls. Can't wait to see them frozen over in the winter.
We do our best to support the local teams when we hit town so off to the Buffalo Sabers hockey game in downtown Buffalo. Buffalo 4, other team 2, yeah we win!
Brandi and Richard live in the city so you walk over one block and catch the train for free to the game. How nice, almost as much fun as a trolley in NOLA....

BUFFALO

Hey from Buffalo!
We will start with the people pictures of the trip north.
As you can see Brusco was happy to take over my bed as usual.
Mark and Brandi at Niagara Falls and yes it was cold and windy.
We got the lovely yellow rain jackets for behind the falls viewing. The force of the water was unbelievable!
Brandi and Richard on the top of City Hall in Buffalo.
Bailey and Sheldon cats.
It was our very first trip north to New York and the first time we ever used a passport. We presented our passports to the USA gate guard and what, oh what did he want to know? "Are you all American citizens?" No we are Chinese you idiot! Do you live in Michigan? What??????

zeldahasaBIRTHDAY

Sew day at the farm. How many people does it take to figure out a simple child's cart cover pattern?Apparently more than are here at the farm today
Use pattern pieces 8,9 and 10
But wait, what about 11? And how do we get the leg hole to work and look like something you want to take out in public?
Baby Tyler may have a cart seat cover by the time he arrives in March

or maybe not..... Happy Birthday to Zelda, pizza is on the way
Katie Kate decided to mole hunt in the upper 10. Could she just catch the mole and leave it up in the field? Oh no, she had to bring him back to the house. Good job Katie Kate!

Happy Birthday to Katie Kate who turned 4 today!

vacation2010

Topsail Island 2010.
As usual the gang headed to Topsail for an October vacation. This year we stayed 1 1/2 miles north of the traffic light in a nice quiet neighborhood.
As you can see the pets came along for the trip.
No, this is not just an ordinary cooler on the deck, it is our deluxe foot bath! No hose on the deck or walkway so we had to come up with something.

newFABRIC!

Woo-Hoo! The new Dr. Suess fabric is here. Don't know what I will make with the patterns just yet.
I will have to hang it on the design wall and look at it for a few days! I am sure something will come to mind...

Great for my TI trip next month!

Lucy finished her latest quilt titled Red, Black and White. The pattern was a challenge but she figured it out and the quilt is lovely.
